How To BioHack Your Sleep To Get More From The Day

Socializing with friends
Being in an upbeat mood
Is based on your body and mind. So it’s important to invest heavily in these.
If you can improve your mind and body, everything else in life improves.
By being able to focus better—you will be able to tackle the day better.

How to biohack your sleep to get more from the day:
The better you sleep—the less you will procrastinate.
Get more sleep time.
Sleep is a very active state for your brain where it repairs your body. It’s a huge energy recharger.
Preferably get 8 hours of sleep a day.
Add in an extra hour for downtime prior to sleep.
Cutting out on your total sleep time is bad. Be consistent.
By missing a few hours, you’re missing certain stages of sleep.
Try to sleep around the same time each day. It’s helpful for allowing you to get more amounts of deep sleep.
A few hours before bedtime, block out blue light. Invest in blue light blocking glasses if needed.
Alcohol will disrupt your sleep. So be careful. Alcohol will disrupt your REM sleep cycle.
Keep the room cooler at night.
And if you wake up in the middle of the night—try taking a cold shower, to help you fall asleep again.
10 hours before you sleep is the cutoff for any caffeine intake. Caffeine has a half-life of 6 hours. So after 6 hours—half the caffeine is still running in your system.
Focusing on a few key areas of your life—you can dramatically improve your quality of life.
Sleep is the easiest way to biohack to getting more from the day.
A good quality sleep can prevent procrastination in life.
Aiming for about 8 hours of uninterrupted deep sleep will do the trick.
