Following your Passion is BS. Do This Instead.
Passions will likely not bring you financial success.
Follow your passion is popular advice these days.
But what’s popular to most people—doesn’t translate to real world success.
Most people are average. So anything popular is also liked by average people.
Hence it's bad advice.

It’s one of the worst ways to make money.
Instead, focus on your talent.
Find out what you’re good at.
Invest 10,000 hours into that skill.
Become great at your skill.
Successful people enjoy being successful. So they confuse it with passion.
If you’re great at a sport—it becomes your passion.
You enjoy it because you are constantly winning.
You put in more time and effort—because the rewards are amazing.
By being great at something—the money, status, and recognition that comes with it: will make you passionate about whatever.
If you look at where you put in the most time and effort—it tends to be something you’re good at.
So instead of trying to find your "passions", find out what you're good at.
Focus on finding your talents and skills.
The better you're at it compared to your peers—the more you will make.
Money is just an exchange of value. Find skills that are valuable that other people want.
And overtime, you will be passionate because you're good at it.
