Switching from hustle mode to social mode can be quite difficult.
After spending all day on a computer—it's hard to think of anything else but making money. That's ok.

You will now focus on being present.
It will probably take you 30 mins or so to unwind. And just live (without worry of the past or thinking of the future).
How to be present—and prepare for a social night out:
Turn up the music. Take a hot shower. Music will help loosen your state of mind. And the hot shower will get your blood flowing.
Meditate for 5 minutes. Don't be upset if you have thoughts rushing through your mind. Just be aware of your thoughts—and focus on breathing. Be in tune with your body since it's loose. And become present with now.
Change into night out clothing. Do not put on work clothes. No gym clothes. This is a psychological move to give you a new identity. And put you in the right frame.
Don't hang out with a "bunch" of guys. Guys get together with other dudes, and think it's going to be a great night—while drinking a Grey Goose bottle in a circle. Don't be that guy.
Head out to the venue of your choice. A key to a wonderful night: a lot of cash in your pocket. Only use a credit card during an emergency. Cash is king for a social night.
If you're still stuck in your head at this point---while heading to your destination, bump up the music loud. This should drown out any last thoughts you have.
Lay off the phone. Constantly checking your phone is as bad as hanging out with a "bunch" of guys---circle jerking around a bottle service table.
